Included In Our Opening Services:
Removing and folding cover for your storage. Removing of winter plugs and insert eyeball fittings. Assembly of filtration system. Starting circulation of filtration system. Putting handrails and ladder into the pool. Your service technician will notify the office if there are any problems or recommendations to your swimming pool. Additional service call fee, parts and labor may apply.
Opening your swimming pool for the season can be a real hassle but don’t stress! Let the top notch team at L&J Pools handle the work for you. L&J Pool’s specialized crew members are standing by, specifically trained for such seasonal services!
Work not included in labor price at time of opening and will be billed accordingly:
Additional vacuuming of swimming pool/Scooping of leaves. Summarizing of a Spa. Cleaning of Salt Generator. Chemical cleaning of filter. Cleaning of pool cover. Cleaning of Heater. Summarizing of additional Special Features (water fall, paramount system, phantom cleaner, shower, etc.).
Your Responsibilities As The Customer:
Allowing access to pool and equipment areas. All breakers must be on. Leave out all accessories (cartridges, skimmer baskets, eyeballs, valve handles, pool cover storage bag, etc.). Any parts that are not accessible to the service technician will be taken off service truck and billed accordingly. If you have a propane heater, make sure your propane tank is full (above 40%). Water level must be brought up half way on skimmer for start-up. If not, L&J Pools will not start your filtration system or apply chemicals, chemicals will be left for you to apply. Aboveground tarp covers, or Inground Tarp Covers with water bags must be free of all water and debris prior to our arrival. Excessive water and debris accumulation on tarp covers will result in an additional labor charge.
Any return trip required due to your responsibility not being fulfilled will result in an additional L&J Pools standard service call fee starting at $130 per hour, per man billed portal to portal.
Included in openings:
- Remove & fold winter cover
- Re-connect filter & pump
- Start filter & pump
- Re-install ladder
- Test water & Add 2 gallons of shock and an algaecide
- Start heater
Additional: Attached Spa, Waterfalls, Swim Jet, Auto Clean, Leaf collector, Vacuuming, Additional chemicals requested by customer, Diving board/slide installation, Clean cover and Post opening cleaning.
