ProTeam Supreme and Supreme Plus <\/strong>are the best<\/strong><\/em> thing you can use and do for your pool. Supreme is a product that makes your pool water sparkling blue and easy on the skin and eyes, while helping to prevent algae growth. It also makes regular maintenance and sanitization simpler and less expensive. Supreme contains Borates which is a conditioner and enhancer for your pool that takes away algae\u2019s breathing source, (i.e it suffocates algea) and makes algae unable to breed. Once Supreme is added the only way that Supreme is lost from your pool water is through filter backwash, splash out, or a leak, so there is no need to add extra product, add once sit back and enjoy the benefits.<\/p>\n

3 Weekly Steps to Follow:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

  1. Add ProTeam High Tech Tabs<\/strong> (Stabilized Chlorine<\/em>) to Chlorinator or Floater (Having an Automatic Chlorinator is recomended over a floater.)\n
      \n
    • If you have a Salt Chlorination system at this Step you will want to test your salt, then adjust your % on your Salt Chlorinator accordingly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Shock<\/strong> Your Pool (Unstable Chlorine<\/em>) 1x per week to break upChloramines<\/strong>. You will want to do this step at night when no one will be swimming in the pool and the sun is down.\n

      • Chloramines<\/strong> \u2013 are the bacteria attached to the chlorine in the pool, which is what makes the water have a strong chlorine smell, give you the red irritated eyes, itchy dry skin and more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
      • Add ProTeam Micro Floc Clarifier<\/strong>, you will want to add 4oz per 10,000 gallons of pool water each week. This acts as an algecide and a prevention for algae.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Terms to Know:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

        Stabilized Chlorine<\/strong> \u2013 A Chlorine that had Cynuric Acid<\/em> in it, usutally has CHLORO in its name.<\/p>\n

        • ProTeam Quick Shock, Zip Chlor<\/strong> \u2013 dissolves quickly, these areDichlors<\/em> ( 1 of 3 types of chlorines)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Unstable Chlorine<\/strong> \u2013 Hypo<\/em>chlorite, NO Cyanuric Acid<\/em> in it, just straight chlorine<\/p>\n

          • Liquid Shock, ProTeam Shock & Swim, ProTeam Power 73<\/strong> \u2013 are all unstable chlorine and don\u2019t have any Cyanuric Acid<\/em> in them<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Cyanuric Acid<\/strong> \u2013 also called Stabilizer, Conditioner or UV Sheild<\/strong><\/em> \u2013 holds chlorine into the water so the chlorine does not dissipate out. It\u2019s good to keep your reading at 50 ppm<\/strong>, (if you have a Salt Chlorinator<\/em> try and keep your reading a little higher around 70-80 ppm<\/strong>)<\/p>\n
